Important Dates
- May 1st, 2025- Entries Open and forms are available at peiharnessracing.ca.
- May 31st, 2025- Entries and signed Consignor Contracts are due.
- August 15th, 2025- All Pedigree changes (sex change, staking, etc.) are due.
- September 1ST, 2025- Signed Transfer of Ownership and/or Registration Certificate and Negative Coggins Certificate due.
- October 1st, 2025- Proof of Liability Insurance, Yearling Health Status Form, and Vaccination Certificate (if applicable) due.
- October 9th, 2025- All Yearlings must be on the grounds by no later than 1:00 p.m. and ready for inspection by 3:00 p.m. for the Yearling Preview. Each consignor is responsible for having a handler present at their consignment for the duration of the yearling preview.
- October 10th, 2025- All Yearlings must have their hip numbers on and be ready for inspection by no later than 9:00 a.m. on sale day. The sale begins at 11:30 a.m.
New Information for 2025
- Sale Commission is 6%.
- The cataloguing fee for the 2025 sale has increased to $100.00 plus HST = $115.00 (per yearling).
- A NEGATIVE COGGINS CERTIFICATE IS MANDATORY for the 2025 sale and must be submitted to the sale manager by no later than SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2025. Failure to do so will result in your entry being removed from the sale.
- It is the sole responsibility of the consignor to ensure ALL stakes engagements are listed correctly. If the yearling is eligible to any US. stakes, consignors must submit the full list directly to peracing@eastlink.ca.
- Any changes to your yearling’s pedigree (sex change, staking, etc.) are due no later than August 15th, 2025, so that they will appear on the pedigree in time for cataloging.
- If not submitted with entry form, Proof of Liability Insurance must be provided by no later than October 1st, 2025.
- The Yearling Health Status Form is MANDATORY and must be submitted to the office by October 1st, 2025.
- Yearlings consigned to the Atlantic Classic Sale cannot be advertised as for sale on any website or online auction site other than those affiliated with the Atlantic Classic Sale.
- Consignors will be assigned stalls at the Atlantic Classic Sale’s discretion. There is no guarantee of being stabled inside Agriplex A or B, or the Walker Barn in the event enough entries warrant the use of a tent.
